• Road to Success and Beanstack Program

    Purpose:

    Road to Success is a free incentive reading program for elementary school students that your school participates in!  

    We are devoted to seeing your student improve academically by rewarding their educational accomplishments in partnership with their schools. We know that students who develop independent reading habits early will more readily achieve their future academic and career goals. 

    Road to Success provides your school with the Beanstack platform, a user-friendly website and mobile app, to track students' reading. Your student will be enrolled in the Road to Success Challenge on Beanstack where they can earn prizes for reading and earn entries into our giveaways. We do a Bike Giveaway at each participating school and a Grand Prize Electric Scooter Giveaway to one lucky student in the entire program. With your help, students can log reading minutes at home! 

    Beanstack has other great features to motivate your student to read like badges, streaks, and other challenges! 

    Our Road to Success challenge runs from October 1st, 2024 - March 21st, 2025. It will show up on your student's account during this time frame. Winners of the giveaways will be drawn on March 24th! 

    Road to Success annual my529 Read-a-Thon contest, runs from April 1st to May 1st! One lucky, top-reading student from your district will be randomly selected to win a $1,000 dollar scholarship account, thanks to the generous sponsorship of my529! This Read-a-Thon will also be conducted through the Beanstack platform - so, nothing more is needed other than continuing to regularly log minutes. If your student is the winner, your school will provide my529 with your contact information to set up the account!

    Prizes:

    Prizes will be given out on the first Friday of the month, starting on November 4th.

    1st Prize - 80 minutes
    2nd Prize - 1000 minutes
    3rd Prize - 2500 minutes

    Bike Entry

    • First Entry - 1800 minutes
    • Additional Bike Entry - Every 500 minutes beyond 1800 minutes
      • Caps at 12,000 minutes
